Next week he'll announce the ABC is biased because it doesn't have government ministers on the show. Who voted for this clown?

I guess we can do some sort of false pride thing at being the laughing stock of the world. http://blogs.cfr.org/asia/2015/02/05/tony-abbott-has-to-go/

Some of my friends shared this, saying it proved how silly scientists were for saying the globe is warming. Unfortunately for that little a-ha moment, the ice age scenario has been a core part of global warming theory from the beginning. Heating the globe melts the ice, which dilutes the oceans and possibly stops the major currents. Which potentially triggers an ice age. It's called reading, people, books and articles and things, rather than the Daily Telegraph, and Larry Pickering cartoons. http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2004/05mar_arctic/

Ms Bishop has already debased the position of speaker with her ridiculously partisan rulings, and now adds blatant rorting to the mix.

As David Lee Roth says, I wonder what our message to aliens will be: "Go Home, the Earth is full"?

As we get older we tend to feel that time is flying by, more than when we were young, Pierre Janet provided a great explanation for this in the 19th century (hasn't time flown ;) ) Bhttp://maximiliankiener.com/digitalprojects/time/

The thing with the "assimilate" idea is that it's a repeated theme, throughout history. The same people saying that about Muslims now were saying it about "Asians" 10-20 years ago, and Italians or "dagos" before that. I don't think many of us think the Asians and Italians ripped the fabric of Australia apart. So we just have a core group of people always convinced somebody is trying to steal their way of life away from them. Which never happens.
