It may actually not be long until you could die from scratching your finger, as sometimes happened pre-antibiotics. But also an opportunity to rethink microbes, they absolutely are the future of health, including chronic conditions like cancer, atherosclerosis, Alzheimers, depression, anxiety etc. No solace for those vaccinated against vaccinations either. Vaccines will be part of the way forward too, they're possibly one of the few aspects of modern medicine on the right track.
I'm sure Australians will say what they always say. That the problem isn't our cluelessness about racism, it's other peoples' need to lighten up.

My experience with clubs matches this exactly.
I'm not sure people realise just what fanatical zealots are in charge here now. They won't stop until they've dismantled most of the public sector that Australia took a century to build. But all the way along they'll be telling us how deeply they respect public health and public education, and public broadcasting etc. (Although they already don't even pretend to respect public broadcasting.) All bullshit people. Doesn't matter if you're Lib or Labor, or something else. Plenty of the Libs can't believe this stuff is happening either. They cut funding to public education, that's why schools are short.
