The status quo is infinitely inventive at rationalising why no change is needed. So it will be forced upon it, by reality. Either it will die out, or internal or external catastrophe will force it out. The French Revolution, or world wars. Or climate disaster. 2/3

And it’s not that the status quo represses us. The rest of us largely want to be those high status people. That’s where they get their power. That’s why they trot out ‘the politics of envy’ comebacks. They know what people really desire. /end
