Also why range is more political spin with EVs than an actual practical issue. People have electricity already at home. A top-up model will replace a fill-up model, for most everyday consumer driving. Like topping up your petrol or diesel every day, with just a few litres. /2

Except of course you can’t do that for petrol or diesel, you have to go to a servo. But you can easily do it with electricity. Fast-charging stations will be mostly for long distance or other away-from-home trips. Slogans when unpacked are always empty. /end
