Covid minimisation is status-driven insanity. History suggests it has a lot further to run.
This is Francis and Dan Keller. Falsely convicted of sexual abuse of children in a daycare facility.
They spent almost 22 years in jail.
Status did it.

They went to jail because status hierarchies involved in dealing with the case lined up to convict them.
The insanity of what they were accused of shows the power of status over any facts. Nobody challenged the status hierarchies.

"Children from their day-care center accused them – variously – of serving blood-laced Kool Aid; wearing white robes; cutting the heart out of a baby; flying children to Mexico to be raped by soldiers; using Satan’s arm as a paintbrush; burying children alive with animals;...3/6
"...throwing them in a swimming pool with sharks; shooting them; and resurrecting them after they had been shot."
Like living with pandemic viruses, your first response should rightly be wtaf?!!

It makes 'living with' a pandemic even seem sensible. But no. The Kellers spent almost 22 years in jail.
Many involved achieved national or even international status for their roles. That was the driver for the whole tragic case. 5/6
Status runs all societies. It will countenance the most absurd and tragic insanities, rather than surrender status.
The complete insanity of living with a pandemic and doing nothing against climate change is also status. The 'status quo' is dependent on those insanities.
