My apologies for the re-post. A technical issue. Attitudes to public health. Cholera epidemics in England in the 19th century prompted construction of 1300 miles of sewers in London alone. Using over 300 million bricks. At a cost of about half a billion pounds. /1 https://t.co/vSSUUtX5Mb

About 100,000 people died of cholera in England, in the 19th century, pre-sewers. About two-and-a-half times that number have died of Covid there, in under 5 years. Imagine the ventilation half a billion pounds could buy. /end
