Another favourite is people who come back from the US or Europe and prattle on about how ‘they’re just getting on with it’ (Covid). Meaning they’re ignoring it, and here in Australia we’re ‘behind’ because we’re not ignoring Covid enough. Not sure if we’ve reached peak dumb yet.
