Look at that spending in WW1 and WW2. The ‘Economy’ boomed for decades afterwards. Compare to right now? Our GDP has gone *up* during the pandemic. There’s mountains of fiscal firepower there to be used. People say ‘but they were wars’. Pandemics kill more people. /end
