Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie will have no power for up to a week. Storms destroyed several transmission towers. Backup gas generators have failed as well. There’s no fuel, because service stations can’t operate without electricty (ha). Here’s people queueing to get fuel in a neighbouring town instead. Anyone there with an EV and their own solar and battery - unaffected.
