I watch this show a lot, the English countryside is one of the wonders of the world. One thing that people moving to the country often say on the show is that they’re doing it because where they’re living now has become overcrowded. This is my pet hate about travel in general too, people spoil the places they already live in, and go searching for new places, which they then spoil...and so on. We’re a culture of somewhere else, somewhere else is always better than where we are. The grass is always greener, there’s a deep unhappiness and inability to just be.
