Since the beginning of time I think there have been accusations that the stories people read or watch 'influence' them to act in certain ways. It's never turned out to be true. If it were true you could run the world just by writing a story where you run the world. Sexual assault won't be fixed with simplistic gender-based caricatures. Start correlating it with domestic environments, destroyed self-determination in work, and alcohol, progress might get made.
