I shared the projections of system collapse in 2025 from AEMO here a couple of years ago already. We’re known for years solar would overwhelm the ‘baseload’ power idiots thought was in short supply. Now we have exactly the opposite problem, way more power than we need, and nowhere to store it and industry not re-configured to use it during the day. Because the same idiots blocked action to fix it, when it needed fixing. You can probably tell I’m a bit fed up with all of this. None of this is particularly difficult, but the idiocy that platforms like these now flood the public zone with is preventing anything meaningful happening at all.
