Alan Kohler is so consistently brilliant. Like here, pointing out that the US (and the wider Anglo world) is handing total domination of the next century (or two) to Asia, because of our ridiculous culture wars on climate. The Chinese are racing ahead to fill the gap, and if Trump's elected again, it'll be game over. Another hilarious twist in this tale? One of the biggest users of our iron ore and lithium exports, and therefore what makes us rich, is China building EVs. So at the same time as China is taking over that whole technological revolution and making us buckets of money, morons here in Oz sit on social media repeating slogans about how bad EVs and renewables are.
