While the Queensland government spent $500 million drilling for enough oil to supply one service station, NSW is finally really ramping up EV fast-charging infrastructure, electric heavy vehicles and kerbside chargers. Note fast-chargers are mostly for long trips. You don’t need them for nearly all of the driving you do.
