Where does grown-up discussion of grown-up issues mostly happen in society? A genuine question. I don't see it in many places at all. You can find small tribes of people focused on more grown-up things, but that's the problem, it's not a wide public discussion so goes nowhere. If difficult social issues never get discussed, don't they just build up over time and eventually explode? Isn't that the world we're seeing right now?
