Much of what I post comes from the mostly unknown world of governance. What it is that makes it possible for people to live together. It’s not even art, let alone science. It’s a bloodsport with some core insights practitioners glean from centuries of bloodshed. Nobody respects the knowledge or even know it exists, they assume they know it all because they vote. Like thinking you know how to fly because you were on a plane once, or you’re an expert on education because you went to school. This quote sums up my every day at work for about the past 30 years.
