America was broken long before Trump. It won't be able to elect its way out of its problems. Elections are the mechanism its plutocrats have gamed to assume total power. America is a plutocracy because it's a fundamentalist anti-institution culture. A revolutionary culture of 'the people'. Only individuals and their government, with nothing allowed in-between. Leaving that whole middle ground wide open for big money to dominate.
