Dyson makes beautiful (and eye-wateringly expensive) things. Their current crop of fans are interesting because they're also air purifiers. For a lot of years air purifiers were mostly for chronic allergy sufferers, a bit of a fringe product. Now that's changing, because people are slowly realising what a serious problem air pollution is. It's causing a lot of illness and death, and many cities in particular have dangerous levels of pollution. An issue that's been a bit of a slow burn, but will become much bigger. Cars and wood fires are two of the biggest culprits.
