I was sceptical about expandable garden hoses. But I got one to try (they’re not expensive), and love it. They’re made mostly of latex, and expand once you turn the tap on, many times over. It’s quite freaky to watch, like a snake unfurling. But even freakier when you turn the tap off again and let the remaining pressurised water in the hose release, as it shrinks back to original size. Means you don’t need to have a way to wind up and unwind your hose each time you use it.
