This pair, who promote themselves as the champion of the ordinary person against 'the elites', come from the very top level of elite society. Super-rich and privileged families, and leading parties funded by the top-end of town. At what point do people who support them join these dots? Probably never. Which is why the time for talking is over, as with climate science. Fighting is needed. Not protest, not retreating to a fictional middle or moderate ground, both of which are abject surrenders.
