Something that changed my life. What we call outer space begins right here on the ground, you don’t pass some threshold and suddenly you’re ‘in space’. The atmosphere thins, but gravity doesn’t, or much more slowly. What this means is, when you’re on the ground, you’re a floating astronaut who has had a planet come *up* underneath you. You can feel that directly, the ground stops feeling like something you fall down onto, and starts to feel like a massive rock coming up under your feet every moment, as you float.
