Elections and leaders to me are like picking the colour of your car. Society is the car, a very complex piece of engineering, needing large numbers of smart people, hard work and tradition to keep running. It doesn’t matter what colour you pick for the car, it has only a tiny connection with all those smarts and work that actually build it and run it. We’re obsessed with leaders, reality is like a big TV show for us, with the leaders being the main actors.
