I reckon you can trace most modern day problems, including climate change, to our inability to recognise the agency of anything that isn’t human. This planet has millions of other ‘agents ’ who could make our lives stupendously easy and our living spaces a true Garden of Eden. If we could just ditch our overwhelming arrogance in thinking we’re the only thinking agents on the planet, and can exist without our connection to other agents. Stop worshipping nature, stop shitting all over it, and focus on the connections.
