A deeper take on travel and movement. An astronaut in space cannot move. They can flap their arms and legs around, like in this video, but in terms of going from 'A to B', they can't move a millimetre. It's only by contacting and interacting with something else, that you can 'move'. This is why I say our ideas about travel are so destructive, because we see it as just moving from place A to place B. To get from A to B, you have to change A, and B, and everywhere in-between. You have to build roads, and airports, and train tracks. To travel is to transform, not to 'see sights'. We see the sights, and ignore the way we had to transform the world to make them visible.
