I don't advocate infidelity by any means, but it's astonishing to me that a person can be abusive, financially reckless, thoughtless, distant and non-affectionate, or even violent, and this will all still not trigger a relationship break-up. But them 'cheating' will. The ridiculous importance we invest in sex is what makes us the new Puritans.
