The huge amount of electricty renewables are producing during the day is making energy retailers charge huge amounts in peak times. That makes batteries even more financially viable, if you use them during peaks times, you’re saving huge amounts of money. In some States they’re also now offering super cheap rates of 8c per kWh during the day, to use that huge surge of available electricity. If you bought just a battery even without solar, and charged it during the day at 8c/kWh, you’re cutting your electricity bill massively.
