I was watching a documentary the other day about big tours in the 1980s, and the promoters and bands all saying 'you never make any money from a tour'. Now they make hundreds of millions off a single tour. It's not difficult maths, the ticket prices are ridiculous. These tours are like giant vacuum cleaners, sucking all of the entertainment dollars away from other acts. In stadiums where you can't see or hear properly, with 100,000 other people. Fools and their money.
