A ‘cost of living’ story. After heating the entire home for 24 hours every day, through winter, at zero cost (in Australia’s coldest town, on average), we’re now already piling on the credits to fund next winter. (Green ‘CR’ means the retailer is paying us.) With a couple of hundred left over as pure profit. The projected credit at the end for the bill will go far higher, as the sunny days continue. Plenty to spare to cool all through the summer if needed too. All without choking the neighbours with toxic woodsmoke from fires, a favourite cheap heating alternative many use. (Smoke from home fireplaces is considerably more toxic than cigarettes.)
