There are all sorts of reasons people don't have kids, some out of their control. That's obviously up to each person to decide and deal with, their free choice. But I think as a society we've lost our way in not making this the centre of everything else we do. It can be that even for people who don't have kids. You can see this is now broken by the fact we're infecting all of them, every single child, with a novel, lethal virus, repeatedly, and nobody bats an eyelid. That's a society in terminal decline. It should make us furious, like a magpie defending her chicks. Children are not a lifestyle choice, but that's what they've become.
