Far-UVC light is UV light at a wavelength that doesn't harm human skin or eyes. But it's lethal to airborne pathogens. I've posted about it before, and the research and engineering has now progressed to a point where this technology is being installed now in some locations. It could make respiratory disease almost a thing of the past. It's the equivalent advance to creating safe circulated water to drink. Look at the numbers. A Far-UVC system in testing produced the equivalent of 184 complete replacements of air in a room, per hour. A well-ventilated room right now tends to have 5-12 air changes per hour, maximum.
