Beautiful drone shot from the ABC, showing a dingo patrolling the dingo fence. Worth reading the article, how the landscape on the dingo’s side of the fence is much richer and healthier than the barren wasteland of the sheep grazing land on the other side. The Americans discovered the huge impact on the landscape when you return apex predators to them too. One of the reasons cats have caused so much damage to wildlife, is this fencing out of the dingos, who would previously eat them. They also eat foxes. And just about all attacks on sheep are not ‘wild local dogs’. It’s dingos, some still get through. Domestic dogs don’t have the capacity to live in the wild.
