This story today, announced at the daily Gladys at 11am. Analysis commissioned by the NSW Government, to determine safety of sending kids back to school. They did a similar analysis last year after national lockdown. Here's what wasn't said: - the analysis was done on schools that were closed for holidays, and lockdowns (i.e. no kids there) - they could only find 8 primary and 8 high school students with Covid, because all the others were at home on holiday or in lockdown. And they found, as the headline says, low transmission. Well bugger me. It's hard to spread Covid to other students, when they're not there. Last year they concluded the same, based on 18 students. The rest were at home. Guess what? It didn't spread either.
