The same young people Labor is trying to help with tax changes now fighting back, because ‘aspiration’. Societies run on status. Not money, not information. Try to help ‘the poor’ and they’ll punish you for implying they were lower status to begin with. They’ll never achieve the status they want, but they’ll die trying.
