These 3 trucks are slugging it out in the big pickup category in the US. The RAM 1500 and Chevy Silverado are already on sale in Australia, and Toyota is contemplating selling the Tundra here as well to sit above the Hilux in their range. The RAM is a 5.7 litre V8, the Chevrolet a 6.7 litre V8, and the Toyota a V6 hybrid. Here are the power torque stats for the 3 cars: RAM 1500 - 291kW/556Nm Chevrolet - 313kW/624Nm Toyota - 325kW/790Nm The hybrid V6 easily the most powerful car, in a tug of war it would pull either of the others down the road. The fuel consumption is 11.7L/100km for the hybrid, and 20L/100km for the two V8s. Thr hybrid uses half the fuel, with way more power and torque. That’s the genius of them. (I also think all of these trucks are ridiculous, lethal penis extension machines that shouldn’t be allowed on the road.)
