Just as Trump makes satire impossible, everything he says and does is beyond satire, it’s incredible really that Spinal Tap is now reality. All the things they mocked in the music industry went on to become the normal way of doing things, and much more bizarre again. People in their 80s are now in bands, something I’m sure the Spinal Tap guys would never have even imagined was possible.
