The righteous wear thongs. It would be good if a leader of some description came out and said 'um, we don't take the law into our own hands and vandalise innocent people's property'. But they don't have the courage any more to actually lead anything. I imagine this guy is about to be on the receiving end of righteous violence himself, if the police don't find him first. That's what mob rule is.
