Flatter taxes are what the LNP are trying to introduce by stealth in Australia. Rich people love flat taxes. It's a real test of just how dumb we are as voters, if we fall for it. They're a terribly regressive thing to introduce, shifting most of the tax burden onto lower and middle-income earners.
