Tesla get a lot of attention with electric cars, for good reason. They saw what was coming and went hard, early. Look at those stats, who would bother with an old combustion clunker? This car would beat a Formula 1 car from a standing start, and it weighs nearly 3 times as much. Staggering, just imagine hitting 100km/h in 2 seconds. Their real genius though is to make cars like software. If you buy a Tesla, it’s continuously updated over the air, via software updates. New features added all the time. The underlying technology, the electric motors, haven’t changed a lot in years, because they were simple and perfect to begin with. So you can just keep adding more functionality instead, via software.
