Hilariously, Musk tried to reveal anti-American forces on social media by forcing Twitter accounts to show the country of origin of their owners. What it actually revealed is how much of Trump’s rise was due to the influence of foreign actors, often enemy governments creating fake influencers. The Russians and Chinese do this all the time, why wouldn’t they? We’re idiot enough in the West to leave ourselves wide open to entire populations being brainwashed by anti-climate, anti-renewables, anti-vax propaganda by placing no controls at all over these idiot platforms. Because of our idiot belief that democracy is ‘the people’ acting. China regulates social media and is called ‘authoritarian’. It’s the surest sign of a clueless idiot in my book, the use of the word authoritarian today.
