Do you remember Tony Abbott's string-and-tin-can NBN being fact-checked multiple times? It made no difference, we still got it (it's still being fixed now). And the facts clearly say nuclear is a stupid idea. Peter Dutton has no intention of building nuclear power stations. He just wants something that will mop up the votes of those who want to address climate change, but don't want Labor. He'll be long retired before they even turn a sod (which they won't).
