Hydrogen-powered cars is another topic that generally has a ratio of 0% engineering, to 100% bullshit. It won't happen. Hydrogen may be used for larger industrial purposes, including jet planes. But for cars hydrogen is so much worse an option than battery-electric cars on every measure, that companies are not even looking at it. It's another topic that is all about debating points online, from staunch defenders of the status quo who try to find every way possible to prove that the obvious solution, is the wrong solution. Unfortunately the obvious solution is the obvious solution. It's already there. EVs. Car companies will tell you that.
