Used EVs are the hot buy in America now, people have figured out they’re an absolute bargain. The same here in Oz, you’re getting a luxury supercar for the price of a Toyota Corolla. Just one more of the empty propaganda lines social media zombies regurgitate is ‘resale on EVs is terrible’. That’s a standard part of the rollout of any new technology, and then (as now) suddenly the secondhand goods are in high demand and their price goes up. Many friends ask me worried questions when thinking about buying an EV. All of the questions are the propaganda car and fossil fuel companies sponsor on social media. ‘They don’t have any range’, ‘how often do you have to replace the battery?’, ‘do they catch fire or explode?’ etc. Now is your chance to ignore all of that bullshit and get in early on the revolution. Very few will ever go back to a petrol or diesel, they will feel directly what rubbish they are.
