Jordon Steele-John on radio this morning outraged at changes to the NDIS. The example he gave was a deaf person no longer being able to order a bespoke washing machine (through the NDIS) that will notify them via hearing aid when the washing is done. This is the sort of nonsense that will destroy wider community support for the NDIS if they don't start to get real. If you're not sure if the washing machine is finished, go and look. It's what everybody does. They're deaf, not physically unable to check the washing machine.
