This has been one of my pandemic projects, though it started well before the pandemic. Electrifying the household. It’s nearly 100% done. Solar panels will go up before Christmas. Ditched gas space heating over 5 years ago, which saved us a fortune in heating. Got rid of gas cooking (induction electric is so much better anyway). Moved to a hybrid car, and will replace the second car with full electric in the next few years as they become more available and prices come down. Notice the current projections, 3.8 million electric cars in Oz by 2030. I reckon it’ll be even faster. Cost of fuel will drive that as much as anything else.
