It was the response to this fantastic story that highlighted just how stupid the anti-EV groups are. ‘But it was only toilet paper, it’s not heavy!’ It was 36 tonnes. 36 tonnes of toilet paper weighs the same as 36 tonnes of steel, or timber, or cement. It’s the same weight. The truck did the trip in half an hour less time, because the extra torque from the electric motor meant it could go uphill much faster. It cost 85% less to run. If you’re an anti-EV person, sell your brain on eBay. You’re not using it.
