Here's some visual evidence of my claim that joining a union is a much more powerful thing for a woman to do, than march. The ALP is a party set up by unions, to represent ordinary working people (the majority of the population). That includes the concerns of those people, such as gender equity. (I'm not a member of any party, but I vote according to what a country needs, right now. Right now it needs working people to regain much more power.)
