I see a lot of childless people on FB, living what looks like lives of constant fun and travel, no doubt using the enormous sums of money they save by not having children. There's nothing wrong with a person choosing to not have children, that's a perfectly valid choice for anybody to make. And some people physically can't have children either, or can't find a partner etc. But the choice to not have them is a trend that's growing, and fuelled I suspect more by the desire to be commitment-free and have great quantities of disposable income. It can't end well. And there will be many who say it's helping bring the world's population down too. It isn't, that's already on the way down, and people in rich countries already don't have enough children to replace themselves. Overpopulation is a poverty problem, not a number of babies problem.
