We’re all used to the idea of a ‘power station’. But already now, by far the greatest source of electricty used by Australians every day is the solar panels you see on ordinary homes and businesses. Not just by those buildings, but by what they export to the grid as well. Much more than twice the amount of electricity used in the grid every day comes from these panels, than from all coal and gas-fired power stations combined.
