This is what the LNP is hoping to do now with Net Zero, leading up to the next election. The total backflip of the Australian population on The Voice, in only a year. They’re hoping to engineer a similar viral turnaround, on climate. Will they succeed? I think some basics of economics and engineering make it unlikely. But they only care about winning an election, they may trash climate action to win votes from Labor, but just let renewables win anyway, saying it was ‘the market’. They don’t have any other source of energy to draw upon.
