I recommend doing this for 10-15 minutes a day. In standing, the great spiral sheets of muscle that wrap around us can become asymmetrically tightened to the left or right, and laying on the ground removes the need for those spiral sheets to support you, upright. So the sheets get to de-rotate, having profoundly healthy impacts on all of your body. Just lay there like this, and/or with your head to one side or the other, and feel what you feel. You might be surprised. Give it at least a few weeks and see what changes you notice. Alternate with laying flat on your back, it does a similar thing.
